Question Rustler VXL servo upgrade for TRX2075

    Hello all!

After only 4 runs the servo of my new Rustler VXL died! Having some troubles with my local shop and the warranty i decide to buy a new servo! But what servo would be a good one for a Rustler VXL (TSM)???

Savox SW-1211SG Digitale Waterproof Servo (speed 0.10sec / torque 10kg)
Savox SW-1210SG Digitale Waterproof Servo (speed 0.15sec / torque 20kg)
Savox SA-1258TG Digitale Servo Coreless Motor (speed 0.08sec / torque 12kg)

Those are the servos i have in mind, but i am not sure if those will fit the Rustler? And what matters more, speed or torque? And can too much torque break other parts?

    Thanks for helping me out!

I am personally going to buy a Power hd WP-23
it is a 23kg servo with 0.12 speed for just under 40 bucks!
    Loads of people have them

In my Rustler I use the Savox 1258tg. It's silly fast and plenty strong. In my stampede I opted for the 13kg power hd. Around 170inlbs and .12 speed. That was 19.50 shipping from china though.

    Thanks for helping!

So torque does matter on a rustler! the rest of my part are all stock, will they handle 23kg of torque? or do i need to update some?

23 is overkill. Not a bad thing. Set your endpoints when you install and you'll be fine. You'll need aluminum caster blocks and aluminum shock caps at the very least to make the Rustler fun for more than 30 minutes.
