    3665 can motor

whats up yall, just wondering if anyone has used a 3665 can size motor in their pede 4x4?

i've read back pretty far on the pages and seems like people have good luck with the 3660 in a 2600kv.
i ordered a 3665 3100kv, figured the extra 5mm should pull the extra few hundred rpms. its on the slow boat from china so itll be a while before i get to test it out.

anybody run one of these with any luck? plan to run it on 3s

seems like an odd sized motor, i think it was made for boats, but it should fit nice in the stampede, i'll just have to remove one of the esc mounting plate holes. no biggy.

I run a 3660 can and needed to sand back one of the screw holders in the chassis to get the motor to fit, so with a 3665 you'll just need to shave an extra 5mm off...

Did you happen to use a thicker motor mount, which would push it back further... makes sense to grind on the screw post just to get your motor to fit.
    Bashing along @ 30mph...
