I agree 100%. Working at my hobby shop we see jacked up and mangled Yeti's and Scores all the time. IMHO it's not a very well thought out platform, it's got dozens of weak points. Hopefully Traxxas knocks it out of the park like they have been with all of their recent releases.

First lets talk about the RC truck posted above. That is a Yeti conversion, pre SCORE model, similar to what JPRC did with his yellow truck. Running 2.2s knock offs with RC4WD dune trackers. Proline BFG KR2s are the current TT tire of choice for the most part in the SCT size format today. They would be on this truck otherwise, aligning with the date fourdub gave for it. Either way, its a nice looking build.

Back on track for a Traxxas dream. The same could be said for the TRX 4. Wait for this year's show that leaked the TRX crawler pics last year. I begged and pleaded with some Traxxas folks at RCX a few years back for a TT. Desert market is growing, Axial taking the first step, making a scaler desert rig out of the Yeti that is kinda fragile, Losi with their Rey formats, now with the Super Baja Rey truck, electric. AE with that DB8 thing. Only fitting that the best brand in RC would step up and rock the world, with something radical. Serious $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to be made in that market. Traxxas already has Method licensing (new Bronco crawler coming out, 2.2s), who cares about the shocks, the scale looking ones suck anyhow, and put a Raptor body on it (already licensed) like most of the TTs out there. Golden. Question is 2wd or 4wd? I personally would like to see 2wd,, but a long travel suspension truck like the 1:1. Time will tell. Who knows, if enough people rub the lamp, the genie might pop out and grant our wish.

I guessing if they would go 4wd like the Losi super Rey and others. 2wd would be a nice thing to try and see Maybe they will offer both options of configuration 2wd and 4wd.

so far it seems that there is only the bronco trx4 as "new" at the trx stand in nuremberg. however trx does of course not need a toy fair to present new cars. we will see if it was just rumors or something real is coming "soon"....

i have my information from german hobbyshops who are attending the toy fair and are posting pictures from every stand they are visiting.
we will see if there is more "news" coming. but so far there are no "big news" from trx at the toy fair. actually there is no "big news" at all ...

The report is between 1/7-1/8 scale. So probably a little smaller than X-Maxx.
