I got 2 pre ordered from HT in Corona, said they are getting 8 in first batch in first week of April. There was already 2 or 3 in front of me, plus my 2... only 3 or 4 left for first delivery. I originally pre ordered online, but was told stores will get some before online orders ship! So, cancelled my online pre order and re ordered thru HT for early April delivery instead of late April.

I though by pre ordering, I would get them as soon as they became available... wrong! I cancelled at HT online while at the HT store once they informed me. It was pretty easy and the guy on phone was pretty cool about it, no prob at all.

Was in Denver this past weekend in a hobby town and asked to see the udr demo and the guy was like we already sold it.. it’s super sweet. .. the store I was at didn’t have the bronco I wanted so went to there other store wich had the demo and asked if he’d sell it to me and the guy was like we can’t do that . I replied the guy at the other store sold there’s . He says it went to the guy that roofed the building .. so sounds like preorders aren’t worth anything .

yeah that's crazy, i heard of a few people who sold theres early.

I hear if traxxas finds out, the seller can get in trouble, and lose their dealer status with traxxas.

I just canceled my UDR pre-order.

I called hobbytown Corona they have a few pre-order slots left, i have to wait for the refund before i can pre-order again.

so gotta wait 1-3 business days, hopefully they have 1 left when i get there by Friday or so. hopefully.

Hobbytown.com says they are not affiliated with any of the chains, the stores are independent operators. so couldn't move my online order to the physical store's orders.

    Awesome!

hopefully my refund hits sooner than later, i will call the HT and ask if any UDR preorders left out of the original 8.

When i called today they confirmed they still have a few preorder slots left.

been rocking the ez-peak lives since may of last year i think, they both work fine for me. i had it linked to my phone, so i can see the voltage of each cell as its charging.

kinda cool feature, it is a dummy charger if you don't have it linked to a device like a phone or tablet, so not much you can see, or monitor.

my buddy hates it, as it dosent have a lcd display to show you whats going on.

you cant engage charging of non traxxas ID batteries, if you don't have the app. on the ez peak's you hold two buttons down and it goes into manual select, manual select mode is activated from the app on this charger.

so if you got a lot of non-traxxas batteries, i'd say get a different charger.

That Ferrari shell fits the wheelbase very well. If you do make it an on-road beast I suggest (I'm sure you've thought of this) stiffening up that sway bar.

the shell wont work, not even for a lifted offroad style, would need to cut the body out so the roll cage could fit thru, or modify the cage.

    meh

did a little detailing to the wheels and accessories, like one of the other guys did.

had a issue where the motor wires were unplugging during roll overs.

removed the spare tires, made the truck really front end heavy, but it virtually eliminated traction rolling.

still only running it on 4s, put 4 6700's thru it today. maybe 20 minutes of run time each, less if hammering the throttle, more if taking my time and cruising.

slash 2wd was faster than i wanted to go on 4s... xmaxx v1 on 8s, was just insanely more faster. i could keep up with the slash pretty good.

jumped it a bunch on a small jump, i rolled it down a hill a little bit, had fun. will give it a 6s run tomorrow, buddy is brining extra 3s packs.

gonna tyr installing these slash rpm mudflaps. a bit further back than where its at in the picture

Doing a spoiler on the back of my UDR.

Removed the stock wheels, and the oil crates, using 2 orange slash wheels on the back, just need to paint the lugs silver and i don't think anyone will notice the difference, hehe.

i think switching from the UDR's tot he slashes will save me a lot of weight. even with adding the spoiler.

My servo gave up the ghost today.

Was running it around, drove it to myself, turned it off, sat for a few minutes hanging out, than turned it back on to a dead servo, no noises at all.

This is the first time i ever had a servo die on me, that didnt make atleast some type of noise.

So i will be tearing apart the truck and installing a Savox 0231mg servo.

Someone sent me some pictures of what needs to be modified to fit the savox servo, so i will be making a short video on how to get the servo to fit in the UDR.

I will call traxxas on Monday and ask for a replacement 2075.

Heres a few pictures from today

Yeah shes a dog on 4s, not going to lie.

installed a savox 0231MG servo this morning.

heres a pic of savox 0231mg, traxxas 2075x and traxxas 2075 for size comparison.

Heres the servo before it fit. back of the servo touches the motor cover.

heres the dremel work, its very minor took less than 3 minutes.

sits nice and flat, clears the rear body plate / skid guard.

Nice powerful servo. Feels good, tires turn really fast and precise.

I plan to do the same, just wanted to confirm the stock servo mount will accept the Savox, it's just the motor cover that needs to be cut back? Thanks!

I think the Savox SB-2271 is the same size as the stock Traxxas

(im guessing, that the Traxxas is just using an all metal gear version of the same server in a slash 4x4)

Hey bud you have to trim the back of the savox servo like this, just slightly, you want it to rest on the motor housing, not free float, if theres any wiggle room that's bad, so i left it a little material too much, and its nice and tight. if that makes sense.

out bashing the udr and erevo 2.0 tonight.

Many thanks! I'm going to order a servo now so when the Traxxas does go out I've got one ready.
