    Battery extension kit for UDR?

I got a huge raise and the lights are back on. My Sidewinder slash is still in my possession and I donít plan on changing that. Iím still cautious about spending $750 on an rc car, and this question will be a make or break. Anyway, I have a 6000mah 3s lipo battery. Will it fit with my other 6000mah 3s? Also, if it doesnít fit can I use a 6000mah 2s or will that blow it up. Thanks guys!

In some of the pictures they showed, it had a 4s 5500 mah

Guess will have to wait until someone actually has one in hand.

Has those foam spacers, RCCA talked about them briefly in a video they did. Different batteries making up the s count and such with the different spacers. My existing battery collection is useless here. :^(

It fits two of Traxxas' 5000 mAh 3S LiPo's, one of Traxxas' 6700 mAh 4S LiPo's, and two of Traxxas' 7600 mAh 2S LiPo's. So if your dimensions are close to the size of those, then it should fit.

Traxxas lists the compatible Traxxas batteries for the UDR on it's page.

It will not fit 2x of the thick Traxxas LiPos.

Can someone please explain to me how one connects two lipos together to create a 6s on this RC please?

    Thanks!

You plug one 3s into one open plug, and another into the second open plug. It comes with 2 plugs built in. That simple

There are two plugs located on the chassis to plug in 2x LiPos on this truck. One Plug can use a 2S, 3S, or 4S, while the other can only do 2S and 3S. Both these plugs are connected in Series the "Combine" the output of the LiPo's.

ESC Red Wire goes to Positive end on one Connector, ESC Black Wire goes to Negative end on the other Connector. The other ends on those connectors that are not connected to the ESC, a Negative and Positive, are then connected together.

    At this time, no.

Its either 2 two 2s/3s packs, or 1 4s pack.

however you could simply add your favorite esc and drop in a 6s.

yeah, sadly its got a series harness build into the track.

here is a picture of the terminator plug/loop is you are using a single battery.

If you connect a 6s battery and your esc fries, i warned you here first lol.

Well if you can connect two 2s and one 4s the only reason you can not connect one 6s is because Traxxas do not sell 6s batteries. I think it will be fine with one 6s battery if two they on series so does it matter if it is one battery or two in the loop that gives 22.2V? Maybe Im wrong it happens and if so please correct my conclusions

With the series loop, you will be able to connect a single 6s to the other connector. You could not use a series loop with the evx2 in the summit, and could not use one 4s pack. If they are including the single battery loop, it will take a single 6s.

If it fits a trx 4s 6700, the battery compartment is very big. Those packs are flippin huge!!! It will be hard to find a single 6s pack in tye shape of the traxxas 6700 to use up all of the space. You may be limited to 2 3s packs if you want 5 to 6000 mah...

So to answer the question you asked, prob not. But no one can answer your question for sure until they get the truck. Your guess is as good as anybodys gu3ss.

My Vx6s armed on 5s/20vdc but soon kicked in the Lvc under a load. Your mileage may vary.
