How to re do tmaxx wheels

Hey guys figured I'd post some pics of what I have done last few days.

First I went and got some paint and primer in one. (As shown)
I also got some scotch brite pads.

Once home I went at sanding the wheels to get the stock paint off. After I soaked them in some rubbing alcohol. Wipe dry.

While I let the wheels sit I also cleaned the tires. (Will post a separate post on these) but pretty much made them new looking.

Top set of wheels is before (I got these used)
    Bottom is after cleaning.

I have to wait for a nice day to paint but here is what they look like so far!

Looks good man, curious to see how that paint holds up. I have had pretty good luck with the krylon fusion on some stuff. I used dupli color on plastic vehicle parts, but used bulldog adhesion promoter. That stuff is awesome

When you are ready to mount those bad boys up you might want to go over this.... I've done a lot of tire mounting for racing and this works really good.... Pics fell victim to Photobucket but the thread still has some good pointers and tips...
