    diff lock not working correctly.

Hey guys! I'm new to the forum, but definitely not to the R/C world. Need a little help. I recently bought my Summit from my LHS. Since the day I bought it, the diff lock switch will not work in the 2nd position. (Not locking front diff.) But when I flip switch to 3rd position front and rear diffs lock like they're supposed to. New controller? TIA

If it's an old fm 27mhz radio version and they changed the radio and receiver to a new 2.4ghz that could be your problem.
If possible find out how old it is.

It has the extra piece in the receiver box for locking the Diffs. It does have 2.4ghz receiver and transmitter. Just not sure if it came stock or installed recently. Thanks!

What happens to the servos (visibly) when you flip to the second position? Then - what happens when you flip to the third position?
    I broke it again . . . \_(ツ)_/

    2nd position: No Servo movement.
3rd position: Both servos engage fully.
Effectively, 1st & 2nd positions are the same.
    High/Low trans shift works flawlessly!
If it is the transmitter, do I replace the switch, or do I spend the $$ for a new transmitter? Do I get a new receiver with it? Thanks for the help!

Try re-binding the transmitter to the receiver

Also try reversing the 4th channel.

Rebinding was a no go. T-Lock was plugged into ch4. Servos plugged into T-Lock. Reversing servos on T-Lock changed position on switch. 3rd= open Diffs. 2nd= open Diffs. 1st= both Diffs locked. Remove T-Lock, plug servos into 4&5 Diffs work correctly, but no led lights.

I'm out and about today, saturday in Oz, but when I get home early evening I'll get back to you. You do not need the T-Lock.
I'm sure there's a fix for this on the Summit forum. I'll look it up when I'm home.
Fear not young grasshopper we'll sort it.

You don't need the T-Lock with that receiver. Plug diff lock servos directly into receiver. That should sort you out.
Sorry for the delay. I hadn't read you were still using the T-Lock.

Nowhere to plug in led lights. Ch5 & batt are one in the same.
