Rubbing with Proline tires and Tactical body....what am I missing?

    Hi Everyone,
I recently put the Tactical body on my originally Defender chassis, and even with the body posts up front as high as possible, the front tires are rubbing on the fenders when turning hard now that I've switched to Proline Hyrax tires. Any ideas on what to do? I've never heard of trimming fenders before, and it looks like there aren't any higher body mounts. I also have the MIP 4mm extension kit installed which should have helped a little bit already.

    Thanks for any ideas!

Actually, the 4MM extension kit is likely what is causing your tires to rub the body when turning. With out the extenders the wheels are just outside of the wheel wells and would turn inside the body.

They are the Proline Hyrax 1.9 but they are the larger ones not the class 1 version. Not sure of exact size.

I got hung on this same thing with another RC truck. I missed the fact that hub extensions cause the wheel to move more forward and backward when turning. Did removing them fix it?
