Its a Roomba for pools ha
"Speed and power solve many things"
It’s a RC, not a robot. More fun the pilot it then to just watch it.
Have fun!
Edit:
I made this rig with hot asphalt in mind. The tires are GRP’s S7 compound.

Hey squeegee! That car is fire! Did you use a 3s or 6s typhoon body?
Thank you.
I honestly don’t know. Hold on...
Just dug out the decal sheet it came with and it says 6S.

Current shocks on my rig are from the Arrma Limitless 6S. It's stock springs are 4.7 N/mm (27 lbf/in).

Whats backslash mean
When You Feel Down Send It To The MOON!!
The JANG from URC coined the term with his build and the rest is history.
As for the term itself, it is best answered by The JANG himself:

Squeegie, you said you needed adapters for the 5th scale GRPs, what ones did you use? Also, I just read this thread all the way throuigh, and I love it! Amazing work, man! Keep it up!

The Slash 4x4 1/5 adapters that I have were made by EM Performance (EMP). They no longer show them on their website. They have them for other models:

Okay. Methinks that maybe the E-Maxx/XO-1 ones would propably fit. I mean, the 17mm hexes (from Traxxas) are just the E-Revo hexes, right (feel free to correct me if i'm wrong)? Thanks!

No they don’t. The axle shaft for the X0-1 is 6mm, the axle pin in the adaptor is larger and the hole placement is not the same.

Here is what the Slash 4x4 adapters look like:

Here's the adapters for the X0-1:
These are for 6mm axles. Maybe the hols will line up for the Slash's 5mm axles, but it will be loose. I tried them with the Tekin M6 axles, but the holes did not line up and were smaller.

Oh okay. They should fit with the 6mm shafts on the XO-1 steel CVDs, right?

They are made for the X0-1, 1/10 E-Revo and E-Maxx:

Should fit the shafts, but now sure about the offset. Look at the pics above for both and notice how much wider the Slash 4x4 adapters are? Maybe you can contact them and see if they are gong to do another run of Slash 4x4Adapters anytime soon...
Good luck!![]()

Thanks for all the suggestions Squeegie. I don't actually have a Slash 4x4 (yet!), so I was just speculating.

As I mentioned in one of Steeeve's threads, I wanted to convert this rig into a street/dirt basher. It just took too much effort to get much fun out if it. Living in the city, it's hard to find a long stretch of empty road to do runs on. I had installed my bike's cyclometer on it and didn't know how fast I was going... it only displays up to 69.9MPH.
I got a McAllister Ascot Modified body ('37 Chevy Coupe) and 4 Arrma Felony rear tires/wheels and converted my rig into a street/dirk trail basher. I have not had a chance to run it yet. I just finished it yesterday.
Not sure how to gear it yet. I like the 20/50 on my off-road basher, so decided to keep it with the same ratio for now. Had to dig around and found that I have 16/40. After I get a chance to run and take temps, I will decide if I want to gear up (I also have 17, 18, 19 and 20T pinions).
Enough waffling and jibber-jabbering and on to some pics:
...and just for kicks:

Awesome !!!!![]()
Absolutely stunning! Loving the attention to detail (as always!!) and 10/10 for originality. I love it Squeegie...
Keen to know how it performs when you get a chance to run it. Top job yet again!

Thanks guys! I was going to go for a pearl green and pearl bronze camo paint job, but decided that the solid dark green was the way it should look.
Havr fun!![]()

Wow !I like how low the car seat above the ground. I have those rubbers as well and they burn quick especially power drifting. The harder compound might last a little longer probably.
