I have no place to run it yet. Maybe I'll pick up a set of off-road buggy wheels/tires and run in on a field...

Squeegie: Again...awesome looking vehicle!
I noticed you have a blue LED bar that faces inward toward the rx box.....what does it do? Make the body glow from within? Did you take any night pics?
Slash VXL, Stampede VXL, 4tec VXL ,Bandit VXL
I just wanted to make the blue lights to come out of the vent holes in the back of the body.
It didn't work out as well as I'd like... I should have just scuffed the inside of the slats and not cut them out, but I would rather have the venting to actually cool then to just look cool!
I'll try to take some night pictures later.

My 5 yr old grandson listens to the song on you tube while he looks at your rig lol. Do the video lol
That would require a video camera which I do not have (except the one on my old iPhone 5S).

Can get a refurb on eBay for only $44.95.
Now you got me thinking...

Well, I got some 1/8 buggy wheels/tires and took off my front bumper so I can run it in a field. Hopefully the suspension is not too stiff for it. I set it up for running on tarmac.
I also took some shots of it earlier this evening to show you the blue interior lights.
On to the pics:

Pretty cool, love the blue coming through the openings definitely looks alien.
Thanks guys.
I was originally going to do green and blue LEDs, but decided to go just blue... I like it.

Really like your style. I am just finishing building my Backslash with the same body (just happened to be the one my local shop had on hand and glad they did). I am still trying to decide on the bumpers (the stock ones are on to protect it from my terrible driving) and my wheels are on order. Really cool to see what someone else did with the same body.
Welcome to the Traxxas forums!
Thanks... Can't wait to see what you do with yours!

Thank you for the welcome, been lurking for a while, saw your car and thought it was a good reason to start posting.
Here is a teaser photo, still on the stock wheels, tires and bumpers, but it is starting to come together. I have some 2.8 badlands coming this week. Still trying to figure our what to do with the bumpers, need something for protection, but the factory are too big.![]()

Alright squeegie, you ask for it so here it is. My squeegie inspired body, which I'll call black widow. Not anywhere near the beauty you created but will do.![]()
Its alright son I'll fix it when you break it

My MERV is a Black Widow as well!

I was thinking I had to change it, darn you squeegie. Scropion is a good one! Also thought of venom ( spiderman not the batteries), I know he had black and red in one series or another. What ever she ends up being called thank you for the inspiration kind sir.

He thought the stock bumper was too big. T-Bone's are even bigger... unless he cuts them down.

Sorry, I didnt mention that you'd have to cut it, but once its cut, you'll be happy!

If you don't mind a little modding on the front bumper, then go with T-Bone. They have a LOT of front bumpers (709) that you can cut to shape, drill to mount, and heat to bend... that's what I do!

Forgot... I've also used an RPM front bumper for the Slash 4x4 and cut, bent, and drilled it for my first BackSlash:

I cant even lie - the second I saw the Typhon body on a Squeegie build I put in an order for it.
Every build gets better and better, my man. Kudos.
Yes, WarBAJR II has the Stampede front bumper:
https://forums.traxxas.com/showthrea...354-WarBAJR-II
It is a drop-in replacement to the Slash 4x4 stock bumper.
When running in BaskSlash configuration, I didn't like it. I know it's aesthetic, but I see it more as functionality. If the Scorpion (my BackSlash) were my 1:1 and I were actually sitting it it to drive it, I would not be able to see where I was going with that bumper. That is why I had to mod a bumper for it. See the pic on my post #73 above. As the driver, you can see ahead of you through the shock towers.
Hard to see out through the Stampede bumper:
I know I'm strange that way, but that bumper wasn't an option on the Scorpion for my way of thinking...
