Snapped right behind the shock. You can see by how pristine the rest of the truck is that I really didnt have a chance to thrash it.

It also kindof looks like the other arm has stress marks right behind the shock ? Could just be the picture.

I sent them pics of my links, shocks and broken brake caliper mount and they are sending me parts. Iíll have to check my trailing arms when I get home. Just email them and send pics, they will hook you up just sucks if you have to wait awhile. My lhs received a bunch of parts and I did see trailing arms so if traxxas says they are on back order I can get some for you

And supposedly Traxxas is using a stronger plastic compound?!

I had to put the blue tooth link from my XO-1 in it to update the firmware and get it running for the first right out of the box today, would have been really disappointed if this was my first RC.

ha nice, I "chromed" my shock line connectors. Your tires look really good. Who's going to install the first Brembo calipers?

Have fun! It really has been raining a lot here lately hasn't it. It's sunny where I am now though.

Don't worry about broken trailing arms. RPM will probably have them soon enough
    Guess who's back.

So I found another issue with the truck. When i was removing the upper links to straighten the one out and put sleeves on them, I noticed one screw came out almost to easy. So when installing them it didnít feel like it was going in right so I backed it out and tried a few times. It looked like it rounded the hole out a little bit so I put it back in and when I installed the other side it went in fine and tightened up but pushed the screw out on the other side. The plastic seems really soft and now looks like a horrible design. My other linked truck uses a nut to tighten up this just screw into plastic. I kind of got it in but it still pushes the left side out a little bit so looks like I need a new axle or Iíll probably try and figure out a fix for it

yeah... that's what... it was... a joke...

realistically... i would need to make some washer that could fit over the "hole" in the wheels, the nut is too small. wheels fall off. used a white body washer to just hold them to the truck.

Slash2018 I just did the same thing. The rear screw is shorter than the front screw.

    I used 6mm x .45mm brass tube. It wiggles a small amount.

I will check when I get home but I swear they were the same size, either way mine somehow started to pull out on one side and I donít remember having hard enough of an impact on the rear for one side to start to pull out but oh well I guess If one is shorter I can use the wire from a twist tie to take up the slack, that trick seems to work pretty good.

Check out my new "custom" lower trailing arm. I was finally able to run it through its paces. Man this thing rips! Also got no response from Traxxas about the broken link.

You may also see the blue in the background of my custom upper link reinforcements. Old slash 4x4 driveshafts fit over them perfectly, just cut to length!

What did you do with your UDR today?

Nice bling! Heck do the other side it to balance it out. Canít believe that drive shaft fit. J/k

I installed a 31tooth pinion. Iím liking the pin system on the motor adjustment.

It took traxxas a couple days to get back to me and told me to call back with the part numbers I need and they will send them out. Why they couldnít look them up, I couldnít tell you but not a big deal just call them with the part numbers you need and they will hook you up.

Seeing all these broken parts made me baby it on it's first run. I love that it has enough grunt to slap wheelie lol. Pretty unreal driving characteristics. It behaves like a actual truck. I'm in loooove.

Were you able to keep driving with the damaged arm? Or did it finish breaking the rest of the way, I saw the pic from early this morning where it was half way busted.

The more I drive it the more I break something. I decided to take it easy today at the dunes and broke the front swaybar. I seriously have no idea how it happened. I ended up just removing it and I couldnít tell the difference with it off so Iíll probably just go without.

Got a few inches of snow Saturday, after a full SS screw upgrade I ripped this thing to shreds. My body is smoked, lost a fire extinguisher, and tons of tread from the tires. It was awesome.

Did your body get ďsmokedĒ due to the cold cracking it or just bumps and bruises?

I took most my scale stuff off and added some panels to the back.
