Right on, You are welcome. Looks good. I left mine at work and every time someone comes walking in, they forget whatever is coming out of there mouth and gravitate to the UDR.

I ran on 4s today …. 2 packs …. its fun on 4s but it needs 6s to get it moving fast enough to excite !!!!

Hi. It feels great to be on a forum again, I hate Facebook. Today I made some smoke.

Help me if you can, please.

Installing OBA system, for power I pushed out the pins for the connector farthest forward and solder the wires of a JST connector to the Traxxas connector pins. The red wire goes to the esc the black wire jumps to the other connector. I run 2 2S batteries for 4S. Everything looked good, I plugged in the JST to the OBA system and smoke started to rise. I freaked but got it all shut off and disconnected. I was crushed. I worked different things on the rig until 6am last night, slept a bit, the got working on it again. The OBA was the last thing I needed to finish, I was super happy, and then just devastated. The black wire going from my esc to the OBA box was melted badly. Not sure if the OBA is toast.

So what did I do wrong? I'm guessing the wires on the ESC side of the connector was a bad idea?

direct short = melted wires

test positive / negative with multi tester

I will check them. The ESC was turned on when I made the connection, not sure if that was a factor. So if there is a short, how do I find it? I just don't get why it happened.

Could I just run the OBA of a 9 volt battery or other nimh. I was trying to run it off the vehicle batteries to keep it simple, I tested it with a small 3s, but I didn't want to have an extra lipo on the truck that could get damaged and catch fire.

FINALLY got the FOX UDR today and opened it at the track and bashed it out of the box 3s Maxx Amps 6500mah 150C discharge. Very nose heavy over jumps, will start with removing the spares. Also 80wt, 60wt which oil should go where,all advice welcome.

Everybody high from Russia! I am the owner of UDR too. I have installed GPM Aluminum Motor Heat Sink With Cooling Fan. But it doesn't suit good with the rear driveshaft. Don't make my mistakes. Pics dont do it justice, but when the wheel comes off and flies past your truck due to a lost wheel nut when you dont have replacements plus a limiting strap bolt backed out as well and your using a 4s 9000mah for the first time and after 20 minutes the following happened

So you go home from the park because you didn't bring the tool box, way to go.

I have the same gpm cooler. Does it rub the driveshaft or not on your UDR?

Yep, but I'm going to leave the endbell on and take off the fan and the fan cover. Once it gets warmer I will put the fan back on without the fan cover and it will prevent aluminum on aluminum contact. You will have to install to see what i am referring too. I will do the same today or tomorrow and post pics again.

I want to do the same. My gpm fan is connected with separate 12v bec. I have purchased another fan which is installed from the side of motor without cutting any holes. It will be powered from another bec. I have installed two becs, 7.4v for servo and cooling fan, 12v for another fan.

Aluminum steering servo, front axle carriers and rear axle C hubs, no part numbers for the steering servo or the rear axle C hubs.

DROVE TODAY WITH THE 4S LIPO THINK ITS SLOW COMPARE TO THE 6S
Gearing is still stock can anybody advise me what’s the best overall gearing for it with 4S?

What shock oil weights do you prefer? I run 80wt in the rebounds and 60wt in the shocks.
