    Rustler VXL binding issues

Recently bought a rustler VXL, every time I hit a medium sized bump, hit, the car stops working and the receiver flashes red, sometimes it will re-bind by unplugging, restarting but most of the time I have to manually bind it. I have heard it may be caused by the steering servo, or possibly the ESC. I got tired of having to remove the receiver cover every 10 minutes, so I ran it without and had no binding issues, could there be a kinked servo wire? Anybody have this problem, know how to solve it?

Did you buy a new or used one? What tx/rx are you using? Is everything stock?

You have something loose or not soldered properly. Recommend giving Traxxas a call, they'll likely send you a new RX.

Update: bought a 5000 NiMH battery, ran with no problems. Put in my 3000 NiMH, binding issues. Had to manually bind. I will definitely give Traxxas a call. Thought I would post this info anyway.
