    Broke Rear Trailing Arm

Brought my UDR to my shop to show the guys, patiently waited all day until we were done with work, brought it out, ran it down the street, a car pulled out so I turned somewhat quickly...flipped and snapped rear control arm. Ran it maybe for 2 minutes.

I've seen someone else here post the same breakage.

So I ordered 2 sets from Traxxas. Did 2 day shipping so I can play this weekend.

I plan to fill one set with some type of epoxy, see if it helps any. But I think this will be one of the parts I replace with an aftermarket solution when it becomes available.

    Will do and thanks.

More disappointed as I wanted to show this truck off. I've built up the hype for the week while I painted parts and such. It hit 48 mph, can't seem to see 50 yet, so they enjoyed that. But we'd all have enjoyed a little longer show. Haha

Yes kudos to you on that repair! I was thinking about it then just ordered another set. I do plan to send Traxxas an email and see what they say, but the kid in me wanted it fixed asap so I just ordered some for now. Figured this gave me a couple days to make a skid plate and a few other things I wanted to try.

    Thanks,

I heard Traxxas is coming out with a bunch of aluminum upgrades. Hopefully trailing arms is one of them.

Hopefully that will be standard equipment instead of an option.
