What's crazy is the part # for these have been around for a month or so; I've already seen these guys in person on the shelf and installed on a UDR. The look just as good as you think they do.
Is owning 27 RC's too many? No way!

Do they also come on the Method wheels, like the Rigid truck?

any pictures? I'm concerned with how well they tuck into the wheel wells.

Remember to seal that truck up and clean it after you're done (don't make the same mistake I did with my TRX-4).
    Guess who's back.

The hole for the nut in the wheel is only 6mm.

You would have to drill out the hole to be able to fit the 17mm hex post.

I am modifying 17mm t/e-maxx hex's to work on the UDR.

Saddly, you have to cut the wheels up to make them work on traxxas standard 17mm hex's.

The standard 17mm hex slides over the 6mm axle. that's how off the sizes are.

Forgot about the Summit being 17 mm at the axle. Will have to look at mine to see what would be needed to make the Summit 6mm on the axle output. I think E Revo axles will work, they fit the diffs and hubs and are 6mm. Just what I need, another project vehicle.

Remove the screwpin and pull off the 17mm hub. You now have a 6mm axle. This will narrow your track (width) though.

KSB, will the UDR Hex/Rotor than slide into the summit axle? (my issue with converting UDR to traxxas 17mm hex, is theres a gap behind the pin, i need to make spacers for.

I'm going to try and 3d print a spacer to go behind the 17mm hex.

on the back of the rotor / hex (all 1 piece) is a cone with a slot in it. the slot fits the pin in the axle and goes all the way into the hex. So the cosmetic rotor is slightly behind (inside) the axle pin.

    traxxas part#8569

    sandwich shot

    top - hex
    middle - rotor
    bottom - cone

Slot for axle pin, goes thru bottom, middle, and into the hex
