Plastic spurs on 8s

Has anyone used a plastic spur on the 8s? Seems to make them sound much better.

Also what's the most common ratio? I've heard a few people using 18-50

Drive all day on 8 cells with plastic spur. No problem.

Might give this a try if theyre holding up on 8S. Im sure the truck sounds much better with it.
