    How Fast Is Your X-Maxx?

And what do you use to measure your speed? This is kinda important imo since the Traxxas app tends to be a little generous in measuring MPH. So far I've found the DigiHUD app to be accurate within 1-2MPH when I've compared it to my speedo in my Camry. Most of the time, it's spot on. So I was excited to get 42MPH+ just a couple of hours ago!!! Someone said the Green versions are faster and I hope they're right, so far I'm a believer! Then I remembered I can change the color of the DigiHUD app display so I just snapped a pic of it in green to match my beast!!!!

I got my X-Maxx about 2 weeks ago but didn't do a speed run until the day before yesterday and got over 38MPH but it was at the end of the pack when I was about to go home, so I was excited to see it that high and wanted to do a speed run with fully charged lipos. This is bone stock with the following setup, so post your MPH, what you used to measure your MPH and setup...

    42.29MPH

Itís ever changing. 54mph is my highest on 29/46. Still had some room. I just installed 37/54 which is higher. Itís faster than I can consider running in my neighborhood. Iíll report back soon. Garmin 101

Installed The 46T Spur ("Speed Gear") Tonight...

This evening I installed the optional 46T "speed gear" that's included with the X-Maxx and so far, was able to clock 53MPH (almost 54mph). I say so far, because at first I got 49MPH but ran out of room. So I went as far as I could go on my street and it still needed more room. So I'll see if I get the same results tomorrow when I take it to another place that has a longer flat street.

So I gained 11MPH installing the optional Spur gear which makes me happy since the rest is all stock and I'll see if I can clock it going even faster with more room.

Everything else is stock and I'm using the DigiHUD app...

Nice! I'd like to push the limits eventually and increase my pinion gear too. I think the max setup with the included 46T spur gear is 25/46.
