    Optional shock springs

Can anyone tell me what the stock spring rates are front and rear? Also can someone point me to optional front and rear springs part numbers? Iíd like to stiffen up the spring rates all around. Thanks in advance!!!

Can I add, how to sleeve those as well ? I feel like I find nothing for a long shock like this...

I found optional springs for the front with different spring rates but I couldnít find anything for the rear.

I also couldnít find information on what spring rates the stock springs are. Anyone?

Certainly Losi has something that would fit, right? I don't know the diameter of the UDR shocks, but HPI Savage XL springs are the right length, 6" shock with a 2 in stroke. Regular plastic shock is the same size as the standard Slash, aluminum big bores are a much larger diameter. I can measure mine when I get home. Dual rate springs, they have a few different spring rates available.

I see now available the progressive rate shock springs in traxxas site:

8443 Spring, shock, 139mm (natural finish) (GTR) (progressive, 0.937
    rate, orange stripe) (2)
8442 Spring, shock, 139mm (natural finish) (GTR) (progressive, 1.146
    rate, green stripe) (2)
8441 Spring, shock, 139mm (natural finish) (GTR) (progressive, 1.250
    rate, blue stripe) (2)

Is the blue ones the stiffest?

Rear springs are listed also, just go to traxxas or amain's site and look them up

Cool!! How do you know which spring rate to choose without knowing stock spring rate?

Yeah those blue rear springs are just colored versions of the stock ones. I want stiffer ones.

Keep us posted, interested to see the difference vs stock which we don't know the rates...

They list front and rear different part numbers, but the optionnal progressive rates are not labelled front or rear so, let's figure that out. Shouldn't be that different front vs rear....maybe softer in the front

They are a little stronger than the rear stock springs
Much stronger than stock fronts -thicker gauge steel stock
The front suspension is fully extended with no preload
    Waiting on parts to test

How about running another set of stock springs on the bypass shocks? 4extra spring collars n your away. Might not b scale but would be a good budget upgrade

i just started messing around with the setup on the udr for track racing. and what i settled on for now with is factory setup in the rear. with the traxxas 1.5 4 hole pistons (from the 8455 rebuild kit) with blue springs and 40wt oil limited 12mm. i put a piece of 12mm long nitro fuel tubing on the shock shaft right under the shock piston to limit travel. this setup is a huge improvement over stock

It seems the progressive springs are not available yet in Europe. Does anyone know if there any other brand springs that fit the UDR?
