    Screws are starting to rust!

What replacement screw packs are you guys using to avoid rust? I want to start swapping mine out.

    Thanks

Whatever you do, DO NOT use RCScrewz...made the mistake of busing one of their kits for a Revo. If they didn't bend, they would easily strip out the hex head. I lost count of how many I had to take my Dremel to inorder for me to remove them.

I was hoping there would be an x-maxx replacement screw pack that will not rust.

I would just clean them with WD-40 and give them a light spraying every once in a while. Surface rust removes easily. I have used stainless screws on other trucks. Some are better then others. The cheap eBay ones very definitely strip more easily. You typically get one or two uses out of them and the're done. Good stainless screws will cost you $$$. Even stainless screws will rust eventually depending on the grade. When I am really concerned about rust, I'll use titanium screws, but they also have limitations in addition to cost.

Surface rust don't look pretty, but shows your not afraid to go out and play with your toys....it's no big deal.

I agree with this. The rust goes away.

All my screws and turnbuckles are rusting. Doesnt bother me at all.

My MIP driveshafts are also rusting but they are expensive and very functional so those get special attention. I sprayed some motorcycle chain wax on them but havnt had a chance to test the durability yet. The can specifically states "fling resistant" and if it can withstand the abuse a dirtbike chain will see, im confident it will last on my axles.
