    Should I do it?

So, I was putting the vehicles away and happened to throw the Slash body on top of the revo. What I saw struck my interest. I put it to you fellow forum members. Should I get this Slash body to fit the Revo? Should the wing stay? This is just a mock up but you get the idea.

I wonder if you can go one step further and make the Desert Racer body fit perfectly over the wheels.

Huh, I thought the udr body attaches to the cage? I don't have one so I'm not sure. It looks as though a little trimming will be needed for the Slash body. Just have to figure out how and where so we can maintain the look.

You would have to cut a lot out around the wheel wells. They have to do that on the slash when they run normal 2.8" tires/wheels on it as well. Guessing you'd have to be even more aggressive with how much to cut considering the articulation of a revo.

I just read the title and thought ďof COURSE you should do it!Ē ..even though I didnít know what it was referring to. Besides my legit survival instincts, I read the contents of the post and was right. My survival instincts say to DO IT.

I'm going to do it. I'll do a test run with a thrasher body and see how much of the look I can maintain. Hopefully this weekend I'll have some results!

Ok, here is the first mock up. Still a little trimming to do, also it's a pain to make body holes when you can't see through the body. It's a little off center hence I need to trim more on the right side. All in all I think with the right body, careful trimming and some patience it can turn out well.

Thank you all! I agree, that big wide body gives a sinister look. This was a trash body that was eaten by a dog, imagine a proper one. I just might buy a new SC body to do it properly.

Does the body rub when the suspension flexes and the tires turn?

Right now one side in the front does. That's do to two reasons, one is I didn't trim quite enough off that side, two because the body was already painted I kinda guessed for body post holes. It's not centered on the truck.

Now you need the slayer front/rear bumper mounts so the body doesn't take on every hit first. Looks cool!

That's a great idea. I was thinking it needed a different bumper. The Revo one looks silly tucked behind the body.

I'm bringing this back up because we actually took the o.g. erbe out bashing with the sc body on it. Me personally, I thought it looked good driving in the dirt. Here's a short unedited video of it. Maybe some people will start making this a thing! I'm sure no one would be able to guess what it is, keeps em on their toes, ha.

The "short course E-revo" jumpin in that video post is sorta reminding me of a Kraton with a wider shell from afar. -especially when it lands on it's roof. har har
