    Trx4 bronco body mods

Was thinking about cutting the back off my bronco and making it look like the tops off. Maybe put some roll bars on it. Has anyone done this?

I'm not allowed to post photos yet, but i cut the top off mine. you will need to make a bed for it. i used sheet plastic and bent it to shape with a blow dryer for heat and a bench vise to hold/ bend, then i used the screws that hold the trim on to hold that to the body.

Can't tell from the picture but it's supposed to be purple. Didn't use a primer, just sprayed over the black.

Very nice, so you don't plan on going with a removable top?

Hey guys I’m new to the forum and have a question about jason’s Body mod. What do you use to attach those pieces back to the body once you’ve cut the top off. Glue? Plasti weld? I bought mine used and someone had already cut the top off to modify but never finished.

    Welcome to the Forum!!

Shoo-Goo. It stays flexible once cured. You can probably find it in your local grocery store in the shoe repair area.

I mask off any areas near the seam on the outside of the body where you do not want Goo to go in case some squeezes out when assembling.
