    Is this a good upgrade?

Just wondering if this is a good part to change to aluminum.

I would rather do an Anza carbon fiber tower. The cf is light, mostly rigid with a little flex. I would only go aluminum if I needed the weight in the front, otherwise cf OR an rpm tower with a cross brace on the top for rigidity. STRC stuff is cool tho.

This is good information. I have the STRC aluminum shock towers. They are strong and look great. My car is purpose built gonna for speed though. CF is a better basher choice

Personally use these. Haven't had an issue. besides them not bending to get at bolts sometimes they are good. i'd think it's better than plastic for the ride because they're taut.
