The slipper eliminator; does it act as its own slipper or fit onto a different slipper? Havenít heard much about that.

Also wasnít able to find an aluminum chassis by strc. Is it the gun metal prototype thing?

I have two, one backslash one Frankenstein hcg.
    Backslash:
    Lcg chassis dyed Scarlett red
    Mmx 2650 sensored castle system
Gtr shocks, rear tower and shocks up front with losi springs and vdk
    Sanwa mx-v tx/rx (waterproof rx)
    Tekno big bone center driveshaft
    Tekno m6 axles
    Tekno 17mm adapters
Xo-1 aluminum front blocks and steering
    Xo-1 diffs (front and rear)
    E-Revo slipper
    Mugen wingstay and wing

    Frankenstein:
    RPM arms
    Aluminum caster, steering and carriers
    Hot racing 17mm adapters
    Castle mmp 3800kv sct system

STRC discontinued their aluminum LCG chassis kit. I'm not certain why since the Slash still has one of the strongest markets in RC. They do sell bits and pieces of their kit still but it will take some homemade solutions to make it work. Other companies offer them also but they are pricy.

The Slipper eliminator (search ebay) replaces the slipper assembly with a machined aluminum piece. It completely removes the slipper function, which is a must on high power motors.

went the backslash route with mine. electronics are stock except for the beefy savox 1231sg servo. steering is nice and snappy, even with my bigger knobby tires off road. did add a few things here and there just to help keep her in one piece tho.

chopped down rpm slash rear bumper.

rpm stampede front bumper and t-bone arm skids. liked the bumper because it covers more of the control arms.

wing and mount were losi if memory serves, and the body is a losi 8ight 3.0 one. that's held on by strips of velcro on the sides of the lcg chassis

i guess the only other upgrades would be the shocks and sway bars. but i am really impressed with this thing. she handles like she's on rails, on street or dirt.
