Cool Traxxas 5632 Rear Chassis brace fits 2.0

So I broke the stock brace to the rear bulkhead right in front of the rear bolt and took a shot on the Traxxas 5632. It has 3 mounting points v. the 5 on the stock piece. I discarded the small broken piece at the rear, left the remaining stock plastic brace in place and bolted the new aluminum brace right over the top. It sounds crazy but it super durable now. Just thought I'd share.

With the old brace cracked like that there no need having it in there. It really isn’t providing any structure sound to the chassis any longer & the new one isn’t mounted properly at both points with the old underneath it.

    More isn’t always better

The remaining section of brace protects the shocks where the new one does not and I wasn't sure I wanted to give up that protection Anyway, just wanted y'all to know it could be done, and you can decide if it should be done.

The upgraded brace is also good for suspension limiting straps too.

Any updates? There is no need to have that old cracked brace.

I mounted the aluminum brace over my 2.0 cage, as well. I used longer screws and shock ball mounts to space it. It looks really trick, and protects everything from flexing. Now we just need one for the front end!
