    Motor capacitors?

I read somewhere about the Traxxas XL-5 not being compatible with motors that have capacitors. I have a Reedy Radon motor on my Stampede and it has 3 capacitors. I havenít noticed anything terrible happening. Does anyone know why they donít want you to use them?

*EDIT* I went back and read the document and I realize it says diodes not capacitors..... I guess I'm starting to loose it!

    Carry on!

Sorry, just seeing this. It is an OK motor. I bought it to replace the stock Titan 12T and it does a good job. This vehicle isn't used for high speed runs just running around and jumping in the backyard. I have put it through a lot though. Lately it seems a little slow at the start of the run but once the motor warms up it acts normal. Probably needs to be turned and new brushes. I probably need to change gearing too (90/18 right now).

My next plans involve taking the Sidewinder combo out of my Rustler and putting it in the Stampede. I just have to figure out what to put in the Rustler!

    Thanks. That’s what I needed.
