Self-developed snow blower with fully upgraded Summit

Hey everyone, I would like to present you my Summit with its snow blower:

I developed the whole snow blower by my own, including the attachement to the Summit an the winch.
The Summit was completely rebuild for this project and has now a bunch of tuning parts.

This video shows all the functions:

Unfortunately I wasn't able to do any tests with snow until now, but I will hand it in later.

Don't hesitate if you have any questions

How much weight is the big girl lugging around now? Blower plus truck plus any counter weights if used.
Looks awesome. That's some nice work there.

    Thanks!

The blower itself weighs around 10kg (=22lbs). I've planned 12kg (=26.5lbs) of counterweights in total. In the video were only 7kg (=15.5lbs) installed, but this is a bit too little. The total weight with the Lipos is around 44kg (=97lbs).

That is legit, man! Those poor front tires. How fast did you gear the summit? And what motor did you use?

It's the stock Titan 775 with a 11t pinion. In fact it's one of the very few parts which are still stock
    Absolutely enough for this use.

Nice! I still can't stop looking at the thing! Did you build it by yourself?

That makes it even cooler! How long did that take to design and build?

Yeah, it's definitely fun to use, but the whole procedure is also very time-consuming. The preheating of the Lipos takes already 2 hours and the charging takes another one.

    @Sp2deSummit
I started with the design in 02/2017 and finished it in 11/2017.
All the parts were produced between 12/2017 and 02/2018.
The assembly took another two months until 04/2018.

The first proper use was in 12/2018. I was very relieved when I saw that this monster works as desired

So in all, about 14 months to design it, get the parts, and build it? Dang! I guess you took your time to make it nice, though. Smart

Wow, with all that weight it works ALOTA better than I had assumed. Very nice. Now to stick an APM system in it and make it autonomous.
Theres nothing more satisfying than working smarter so one does not have to work harder
