As a replacement servo, I am going to use a spare 2075 that I have laying around. After I get my replacement servo, I may put metal gears in this one.

Once I put the metal gears inside of my stock 2075, I haven't had any problems at all in the last 3 years. $12 well spent

I'm happy to hear that! I have another servo on the way but it is nice to know that my spare will be just fine

I have the exact same car, and I can tell you It's extremely durable and fast. The components are very sturdy, except for the front suspension arm, I have broken quite a couple (I think 5) of those from high-speed collisions. It fell in my pool once and was submerged for full 5 min. All I had to replace was the receiver and servo. Its a very nice and high-quality truck, and you definitely made the right decision.
Jumping: maneuver and pray it won't break.

I installed the new steering servo! I lubricated the Hot Racing steering bellcranks. She is ready for the next time I decide to take her out
