What is the difference between the 1230 and the 1231?

Usually (not always) the stock servos fail electrically, not mechanically.

The savox servos are nice, but if you are in the market check out Promodeler servos too. They look really nice. They’re made by a guy that makes servos for the government I believe.

Yeah, when I replace mine that’s probably the one I’ll go with. They look really solid and I like supporting smaller companies when I can

    3 Quick questions:

Is there a difference between the Savox 1230 and 1231? Which one should I buy?
Do you have to run a bec? With either of these servos?
Is there a single servo you can run that doesn't require a bec, that's plug and play?
Lastly, thoughts on this servo? Traxxas 2255
    https://traxxas.com/products/parts/servos/2255

    Thanks
