Hey guys i have messed up a few bodies and lost lots of clips and i was thinking of getting an upgrade.
Is it possible to modify a 1.0 body to make it like the 2.0 body i have a spare body but i really dont want to mess it up. I want those 30 dollars to last more than 2 days. Would the 2.0 body mount fit the 1.0 chassis? And would i be able to modify?
Thanks beforehand.

I put a 1.0 body on a 2.0, so it seems to me it could go the other way as well. The body mounting system is interchangeable, the only pro him lemon I see is putting the cage from the 2.0 on a 1.0 body.

I asked this because the 1.0 clips are just tooo big of a hassle.

It seems like the 2.0 clipless wont fall off as easily

Two things to be aware of for the 2.0 body mounting system. First, the screws that hold the cage to the body will eventually pull through the lexan. This is fixable by placing washers on the outside of the body, underneath the screw. Some opt to put slightly longer screws to make up for the washer thickness. Second, as the body gets beat on it can become a pain to get the front clip seated properly, which can cause the front to pop off its clip. This can also happen with big frontal impacts.

Thanks for the advice because i would have found out the painfull way later.

Why not try to take the back from the new body and try to fit to the old one. The clipless system is the back frame itself and it there are adjustments you might get away with spacers.. Let us now if it works, post pics! It seems you've got a plan..
Could also try those unbreakable bodies. Thinking of getting one for my stampede and another truck. $80 a pop though... but if it lasts a year instead of a few months, probably worth it.
