Got the 4-tec 2.0 and a redcat Lightning. Hopefully it is ok to mention that here. I am so paranoid now after the mods getting after me about mentioning other brands.
I know redcat does not have a great reputation but this model is great.
I'm actually going to make the 4-tec a basic brushless 3s parking lot car and the redcat will be the extreme speed build.

I got about 10 packages due to arrive next Tuesday

Absolutely I will but will be a week or two before I have some time to turn wrenches on it and get some decent pictures ready to show.

I知 on the fence on the 4Tec. I have one in the cart with a 911 body. But I知 not sure .3 inches of ground clearance will leave me many usable surfaces to drive on

This is awesome. Yep, we all need 4-Tec 2.0s for speed runs.

With the body I want it痴 like 225 to the door. I have a VXL system that will be perfect to get used to the car

You can't beat the entry price for the car. It's small but so much easier to work on than the X-Maxx and XO-1 because you can move it around on your table and not knock a hole in a wall accidentally.

Picked up the 4tec last night and SOME of my parts came in.
I'll be starting a new thread in the Ford GT section, which should be renamed 4 tec 2.0

    It certainly is tiny!
