Hi everybody.
Got a cool body on the way in.
Need to adjust wheelbase to 300mm manual says this is possible.
Besides moving the stock tower to the 300mm position, I understand that shorter links are needed.
1. Where can the four shorter links be purchased as a package? Part number?
2. Anything else needed besides moving shocktower and swapping out the four shorter links?
Appreciate your input on these.
Thanks
What body? Or is it super secret?
Would four of the front links fit the back to support the 300mm wheelbase?
Same with front driveshaft fitted to rear?
I did see a complete conversion kit that Traxxas makes, but it's not listed on their site now. Maybe talk to a hobby shop, as they can see more parts than we can.

The short WB kit is designed to take the 324mm (12.8") WB truck like the Defender and make it a 312mm (12.3") WB truck, there is not a kit to make it 300mm. Getting it done isn't that big of a chore though, I converted my 324mm to a 312mm truck before the kit was available.
You just need to take measurements on the links you have, and make new ones. I used STRC links, and just had to tap the end I cut down. You also need to take into account the rod ends, they will likely be a different length than the stock rod ends. Given the servo placement and the pan hard bar, I would just adjust the back links.
You might also need to cut the chassis down to accommodate the shorter body.

You can use the short WB links combined with short rod ends which should get you very close to 300mm.
It's a rock, get over it!
