    Brushed version?

I can preorder a brushed version of the Rustler at several Dutch shops, but don't see it on the Traxxas site. Anyone knows something about the availability and if there are other parts besides the ESC/motor combo that differ?

I am liking the brushed body choices better then the VXL. I am planning to buy a body for a brushed version once they come available. The Brushed versions paint scheme is much more traditional looking.
I am not sure how much I am liking this wild splash of bright colors of late.

You have a part number for the brushed 4x4 Rustler? Because I can't find it anywhere here in the US.

I'm guessing a brushed version would come with bushings? Maybe lack of adjustment too like on the brushed slash 4x4?

I should of bought the brushed instead of the brushless...but u do get a little bit more with the brushless..even if u we went with a cheap brushless system for 50 dollars it will still coast u around 50 for all the rest of thee parts

    Adjustable tie rods
    Aluminum middle shaft
    Tsm
    Wheelie bar
Of course th e brushless system

All traxxas center drive shafts bent in our Traxxas 1:10 4x4's and have been replaced with Tekno dog bones. I hope Tekno address's this rustler chassis asap. Other than that, this brushed Ruster 4x4 will be getting the Xo-1 and revo 3.3 treatment.

Do you run a chassis brace? I have a brace and ive taking some cringe loud slams with mine from 20 feet high and the shaft is strait.

Ill be putting a rustler 4x4 chassis on my slash when vr racing makes a brace for it.

I would start with stock gearing 11/54. Watch your temps and go from there. Everyone would always say get a temp gun, and they are right. If you donít have one get one! $15

thanks, I did mean to say the castle is the brushless system, will that make a difference in gearing, I recall having a slash that I turned into a truggy with the same system but can not recall the gearing I used
