Cool Xmaxx runs fine for about 5 min then stops then runs again????

I just got a used XMAXX 8s in great shape and I've noticed that it will run great for 5-10 min and when I come to a stop (sometimes) it has no brakes or throttle for a couple of seconds and then it starts working again. The servo works but that's it . I'm wondering if its the ESC or something else?

I had the same problem. My fix was updating firmware. I would give it a try before buying a new esc unless you just ready for a upgrade.
