    Have you broke this yet?

I think I might be the first! It was an abusive run, no holds bar, and I broke this. Also, after driving after the breakage I snapped the center drive shaft. Hey, if you ain't breaking stuff you're not having fun!

I'm not one to baby my rigs! Thinking about it though, I'm starting to wonder if the big badlands mx38 tires had anything to do with it. I can't be sure because I rotate tires kinda often but that's what was on it when this happened.

Mine’s on its way out, but still alive. I’ll pick up some spares.

Nice break. If center drive line broke as well I would be checking all drive train components for issues. If it was me I would replace the bearing on the diff with the broken shaft. I bet it doesn't roll how it should.

Good luck on getting the rig back together.

Yeah it might be time for a tear down, I was going to do it when I replaced the chassis but got lazy. Maintenance time!

I gotta break mine down too. I had it out today and it had like zero rebound. Time for full shock rebuilds and new springs. Definitely going to up the shock oil weight. At least all the parts are on the chop shops now and readily available at lhs.

I need to do a tear down as well. Need to refresh the rear diff oil. Putting 30k in the front when replacing ring gear and i didn't replace oil in the rear. I can tell that the front tires get more of the traction. Front tires balloon way more than rears.

Swap out shock oils and springs. And give car a cleaning from running at the beach last week. And a once over for what I may of bent, Or come loose.

Then rebuild the portlable RC ramp to make stronger.

Seems like we've hit the maintenance interval for the erevo 2.0! Calling all 2.0 owners, time to tear down, inspect and replace, ha. I really do love this truck, the guys at my lhs call me a revo nerd. They might be right!

For as chunky as the outdrives are I am pretty surprised at how much they wear and that you broke it. The other 8th scale you have has lightened outdrives that are far less stout yet probably show far less wear, at least mine do. I'm willing to bet that traxxas probably isn't happy with the durability of the part you broke

This is true about the lightened outdrive. Traxxas was actually suprised I broke that part though, said it was crash damage but he was impressed I broke it so warrentied it. You got me thinking now though, wonder what's different about it. I do only run 4s in that other truck, and 6s in the 2.0.

I'm wondering if the lightened design allows a little flex and forgiveness, where the rigid meaty design of the 2.0 outdrives just wear and if hit hard enough, snap snap.

Well, I just got around to fixing my truck. Still not sure how or why that snapped. Everything else is in good condition.

Welp, mostly back together. Still have to replace the front center drive shaft. Darn rocks got in there and wore it through. To be fair though, after I snapped the rear output I drove it peg legged for a while and enjoyed watching the front tires balloon like crazy. Hey, it's not broke until it doesn't move right?

I seriously can't stop looking at houses in southern California. It's starting to get crappy here in Ohio and each fall I hate it more and more.
