On 2.0 ..Is there HP gains to be had by changing the esc..?
Just like that title states… I’m looking for more horsepower out of my 2.0 so is it worth trying a different ESC.?...does one esc from the other really make much difference in total horsepower output..? or should I go straight to a more powerful motor..motor suggestions..?

When i replaced my vxl 6s for an mxl 6s I did notice it have a little more umph, but it made the motor run a little hotter.

It’s mainly how you program the esc. Different escs have different programming features and limits.

Adding more timing will increase motor output at the expense of temperature, amp draw, and efficiency.
