Hey guys,
I'm considering getting an XO-1 roller and building one, or getting a good deal on a used one.
Doesn't seem like the XO-1 has been updated in a long time - I could be wrong - maybe no need to update this model?
Those of you who have the XO-1 - what's your thoughts?
Hard to find places to run it?
Can you speed run and drift it?
Any issues with the model and/or ESC/motor or certain parts?
Thanks
I have mine geared for parking lots, and have had a lot of trouble free fun with it over the years.

Life's to short to be a sour puss.
You can, but the XO-1 handles 6s very well, and it's a lot more fun. If you decide to use the out of box gearing (as I do) make one of these for when you're not going super fast, and you'll be good to go.

xo-1 is not really an every day car . I have one & love it . I have a high school near me . on sundays there is much good asphalt to run on . if not after the 100mph , the 50mph is much tamer & ez to run most anywhere ……..
XO-1 GUY GETTING OLDER BY THE MINUTE
I am wondering for now just sticking with and continue to enjoy my 4Tec 2.0.
Maybe go brushless and try drifting with it... costs less, great car and easy to work on, less space needed.
Thanks for the replies.
Great car indeed! It makes a great addition to any rc hobbyist garage but... IT'S BIG
I like both my xo and 4tec 2.0 but, the 4tec is more versatile. It can speed or drift in smaller parking lot's.
On the other hand, if your an rc fanatic like me, you'll get one anyway!!! Every enthusiast should have one on their shelf. I liked mine so much i'm building another with aluminum parts. Kinda like my 4tec!
