    Diff help

    Hi looking for some help I’ve got a latrax teton and I’ve replaced the front and back diff thinking it was them that was doing a loud grinding noise I’ve replaced them and it’s still happening I replaced the pinion gear as well but looking at the large diff gear it has some little plastic ones in the middle of the big one they look a little warn I’ve attached a video hope I can sort it it’s my little boys

    The spur gear looks ok and Iíve tested to see if it slips and it doesnít I was thinking it could be the little cogs inside the big diff gear could that be possible

    If the four little planetary gears are plastic, then you have the original design. They updated the design of the differential gears with metal planetary gears instead of plastic. The updated part number is TRA7579X or just 7579X. The X in the model number signifies the upgraded metal version, while the 7579 is the original version with 4 little plastic planetary gears.
