Question Need Tires for Rustler VXL

Got a Rustler VXL recently and already wore out the rear stock tires. Looking for a set of tires that will last long and grip well. I do most of my running on pavement, but i do go off-roading frequently. Can anyone suggest a good set of tires?

JConcepts Glocs. Maybe loosen your slipper a bit, and go just a touch easier on the throttle.

I really like the Proline Trenchers. I will warn you that they are very heavy. HD driveshafts are a must if you want to run Trenchers!

You are searching for a "unicorn". No one tire will last long and perform on all terrain! Buy a set of offroad tires and a set of on road tires. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

Yeah... but the Trenchers hook up fine on-road. Just not that stable when they balloon :P

Yeah. I had Badlands MX28ís on mine years ago. Axles were gone the same day. The Rustlers drive line is no good for tires like that.

Banditos seem to work pretty well on my Bandit.

I would have to agree on the Banditos. They are in my book, written as the perfect street tire....

+1 on the banditos. I have them on my rustler and they work very well for on road or hard packed offroad use.
