hey guys
So been messing with mini's had a 10th scale buggy esc sitting around, only for cars under 5lbs.
hope it dosent overheat on the teton.
To get it to fit.... I had to cut a slot/cutout the shape of the motor into the blue upper support/chassis brace. I removed some of the plastic from the gear cover housing rear. I used a 32t pinion on the motor. reason for a obscene pinion size, was less modifying.
As I cut more and more material away I can use a smaller pinion. but this is just testing.
Under the motor is Piece of plastic, that has a circle grove in it that the motor can is resting on, this prevent the motor from moving up or down or side to side as it is secured by zipties.(down force).... The notch in the blue chassis brace does a good job as holding the motor still.
on 3s lipo, It swells the tires pretty good. havent tired any full trigger squeezes.
will try to drive it later today with the stock teton tires or 16th scale slash tires (foamed)
