    TQI transmitter dirty.

I have the TQI transmitter that came with the Ultimate. The trigger is getting a little sticky. Not real smooth. Can you take it apart and clean it?

    thanks,

Sure, the guts are fairly simple, just pay attention to where the springs and such go. With stuff that I do not take apart all that often I take a picture with my phone as soon as I get it open so I'll have a reference just it case the whole mess goes south on me.

While it's apart I suggest you coat all the electronics with some sort of electronic friendly sealant (epoxy). I did this to all my controllers. I also had a cheap TQ controller so I coated all the electronics with epoxy, drowned it in water and it still works. This isn't necessary but I go crawling at a creek with my transmitters so I'm not taking any chances.
    Guess who's back.
    Back again.
