I dont see traxxas going under. I think we will see their direct buy website will droo the prices down to msrp once horizon stops selling traxxas.

Brushless is probably the motors rcs will have from now on. Lipo batteriers might be replaced by some new chemistry battery at some point.

One of traxxas biggest competitors went bank rupt and had to merge with traxxas other competitor. Now traxxas two biggest competing brands are owned by the same company. Im predicting one of the brands is going to see some internal sabotage General Motors style.

As for the foreign made random brands. Theyve been around forever, theyre made by some power house company then imported and sold as random brands around the world, typically with some of the uggliest bodies and hardest tire rubber. Just recently have these style brands seen some succsess. But at the same point, making rcs that are actually usable, these brands have had to raise their prices. A dinkydoodle knock off slash 4x4 brushless runs around $300 now, thats only 80 cheaper then the new rustler 4x4 that comes with the new updates. I feel those brands arent really that big of competition for traxxas.

There business model seems to work well. Itís obvious with whatís coming out, that they are always analyzing the market, and making small modifications to there plan.

Unforntatly haloweens over, all the witches and wizards left and took their crysal balls with them. Idk if traxxas will ever go under, i cant predict the future.

I highly dout it. Traxxas sells great and the parts are supper easy to get. If youre worried about owning an rc and the company going under then you HAVE to buy a traxxas. Traxxas is easilly the least likly to go out of business.

Will Applebee's go out of business? Ford? Target? Best Buy? NFL?

Why are you pressing the point and spamming to know if Traxxas will or will not? FACT IS: we do not know. Traxxas will go out of business if they don't have the funds (obviously), do not know their customer base, poor leadership, making emotional decisions, and not staying current/innovate. This is not an exhaustive list.

The original post as well as subsequent ones are similar to keyboard warriors that type in the comment sections just to get a rise out of people, pull out the popcorn and watch the drama.

As long as they keep the pressure up Traxxas isn't going anywhere, unless the CEO, ect. get greedy

It's obviously an impossible question to answer. Thanks to those you who gave a thoughtful answer to a repeatedly thoughtless question. I am closing the thread.
