    Center Diff to Slipper

    Quick question...

Can a center diff be converted to a slipper clutch? I have 2 spares and wanted to convert one of them over to a slipper clutch if it was possible.

My goal is to keep the stock one at 54t, and build one with either 52t or 50t in case I wanted to swap back and forth.

Center diff and slipper are two totally different types of contraptions. You can't convert one to another, but you can pull one out of your truck and put in the other. I don't think any parts interchange, not even the spur gears.

If you only have a center diff, but you want a slipper, you can put thicker oil in the diff. I run the center diff with thicker oil, its like having a slipper, i can wheely and drift, but its a little different. I like it better.

    The spur gears are different.

I agree with him as well. Honestly, since I've never used one, I've never looked at it. SO...went to the support section and found the parts diagram below. No way it would have worked. I ordered a complete slipper clutch, and will upgrade it with the Revo parts I have and be done with it.
