    Do you drive at night?

Do any of you run the maxx at night?
Was thinking of zip tieing or hot glueing a harbor fright special flashlight to the hood.
Simple enough mod and if it breaks, it was free from HF.

Just enough light so I can see it from 100 ft away or so.

The problem with night time driving is that you can't see what your truck is doing, and that's the fun part...for me anyway. At night all you see is your lights bouncing around.

I have 4 acres of trees, etc. I tie a flashlight to the front pointing out the front bumper so I can run it at night.

House floodlights help keep it from smacking a tree.

Just need enough light to keep it from crashing into something stationary. The flashlight lets you know where it is and what direction it's pointing.

There is another old thread and recommended the Murat light kit. Done a lot of research and they seem to be the best and brightest kit withought much modifications. Waiting for mine to come!

I think everyone should ad LED lights to the list if they may do any night driving. They are dirt cheap ($4ish), and when the truck get far enough away you can tell which way it's facing. I love mine, simple red rear and white front. 4 of each color. Just a thought for you since you are doing work to it. I also hooked mine up with a rocker switch under the body placed in the top of the front bulkhead between the front shocks, looks nice and works great.

Yes I do and need a good lightbar up front and red tail lights, although I have a nice red bicycle light that would suffice for taillights.
