Cant get my stampede 4x4 vxl to wheelie?

    Hello,
I recently just bought a stampede 4x4 vxl off a buddie. And i can't seem to get it to wheelie as much as it should. Every now and then it will. But seems like it should wheelie more than it does. It's running a 3s Lipo battery (not traxxas lipo though) other than thst the motor and gears and everything are stock. I wanna have fun with it but at the same time I wanna rip some wheelies.

Is the slipper clutch tight? Check it to make sure itís tight.

Lowering the pinion(teeth) gear will increase your ability to wheelie.

Remove the current pinion, replace with one that has less teeth and remesh the gears.

Good deal. Sounded like that was all that was wrong. On 3s it should wheelie pretty easy!!

Right. So is it common for the slipper clutch to come loose on tge pedes? Thougt i read something that said it is. Also what other upgrades can i do for speed. My buddie as a arms granite which same size as the pede and the only upgrade he has is a battery and hes faster lol

Go up in pinion size or down in spur gear size. Just watch the temps.

Stock is 15T pinion 54T Spur gear.

Adjust your numbers from there, the higher up you go the faster it will go but quicker you will reach melting temps of your drive shafts, motor, everything...
