    Just bought a used Summit

Just bought a used Summit. Hasn't come in yet but I plan I taking it apart and inspecting it. Does it take any kind of diff fluid in the transmission or center drive? I have the E revo 2.0 which takes 20M but wasn't sure exactly what set up the Summit had with the 2 speed transmission.

On my Summit I put a little bit of grease in the two speed transmission (after some sound advice from members of this forum). The two diffs, one on each axel take 100,000wt oil stock I think, but you could use what suits you best. I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.

This is what I used. Comma GR2500G 500g Multi-Purpose Lithium Grease. I bought it off amazon. I think any genral purpose grease would do.

Thanks for the info. I'll pick up some 100k diff oil. I plan on taking them apart and changing the oil.

What other maintenance would be advisable on an old/used rig? Or new even...
And what general maintenance would be best practice and on what frequency?

    Another good idea:
