    Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Body!!!! HOT!!!!

Why hasn't anyone posted about this?!!! This is the baddest Traxxas body ever! I am told my lady I was done buying RC cars until I bought my new 1:1 sports car, but I am going to have to buy this body in blue!

    - Clear Corvette Z06 Body- #8386
    - Red Corvette Z06 Body- #8386R
    - Blue Corvette Z06 Body- #8386X
    - Graphite Corvette Z06 Body- #8386A
    - Decal sheets, Corvette Z06- #8387

I thought it would be cheaper for me to figure this whole speed run and drift thing out with some 4-tec 2.0s, but I went overboard last year:

The three or four that are left will stay so I can leave them in different states when I travel. Notice the body-less one just waiting for the Corvette body! I am done carrying RCs on the plane. My friends can buy their own RC cars from now on - I am saving my money this year!

Can a mod update the spelling of the title? Can't believe I messed up the name of the best looking new gen American sports car.

Looks good, but I think it should sit a little lower.

    Thanks ksb51rl!

When mine arrives next week I will take pictures to show how low it is or is not. I hate paying full retail for stuff and usually wait for Traxxas sales, but I needed this body.

    You are very welcome.
I think they did a very good job with that body...well, with all of them, actually.

Now if they would just make a Porsche 917 (Langheck or Kurzheck) or a 918 (Spyder or RSR) Id be over the moon.

    The 'vette is pretty sweet...

I'm not even a "Mopar guy", but I want a true 200mm Challenger body. There's a lack of them out there, save for the generic 190mm and the Kyosho that's too big. Really would round off the Big 3.

    Looks great drivejumpfly!!
I ordered the clear body mainly so I can do clear (smoked) windows. Sadly I ordered it on 1/8 received the order confirmation with tracking. It sat in pre-shipment until I called Monday and CS said they would get in touch with shipping dept. It shipped the next day...be here tomorrow. Stuff happens right...

How cool would some OEM replica wheels to match for each this and the CTS-V. Please Traxxas...?

I hear you on shipping. I received mine a day later than expected due to a shipping error on my part. I think the clear ones will sell well. I really like the blue on my friend's 1:1 Callaway Z06/7 so I needed this body.

Does the on board audio for the other vehicles sound similar to the specific vehicle? I have never heard one in person.

What rear body mount positions are you supposed to use when mounting the Vette body? I have the Ford Mustang body on my 4tec 2.0 now, and tried to drop this on, but the rear mounting locations are totally different. The front just needs to be dropped a few holes. I wish Traxxas would have included an addendum sheet with the appropriate mounting positions on the towers, after all its made for their chassis.

Looks like the GT mounts if you compare the rear body holes on the vette and GT. The GT mounts are different from the Mustang.

It was mounted on the Ford GT mounts that I adjusted some. I thought all you had to do was adjust the height and length to fit different bodies. There should be something in the manual about it.

I finally painted mine up!! Did my best to mimic the shark gray on the 2015 Z06.
I used Tamiya PS-36 Translucent Silver (Just a dusting) and backed with Tamiya PS-23 Gun Metal
I also took the time to mask off the front splitter, front wheel opening lip, side skirts and rear bumper lower center section and paint those black just as they would be on a 1:1 Z06.
    Enjoy!!

    There is some trickery going on there...^^^ I don't have 2 4Tec2.0's
    ..Yet

Nice job on the paint and the tire placement without a chassis!
