    Light kit question

So I got this light set second hand it works ok, BUT there's a small blue wire coming from a head light unit that isn't connected to anything I asked the guy I got it from and he says it's always been like this
I've circled the wire in red in the pic, so my question is why is it there if it does nothing??

Here's a better pic, as you can see there's two black/blue twin wires going to the unit one's from the connector, the other goes to the other light unit, this is the left front head light
Just don't understand what the single unconnected blue wire is for??

    It looks like a antenna.
on the app there is a button to control the lights on the dashboard.
Think you need more stuff to make that work though.

It's missing a connector. That is the wire to connect the headlights to the roof bar on the defender body to operate the high/low selection switch on the roof bar. (You don't technically need it for the headlights to work.)

Look at the image showing all the components, the headlight setup and the roof bar both have two plugs. Your headlights are missing that small black plug, it appears to have been cut or ripped of.

Unfortunately I do not have that specific information. The voltage regular outputs 3v, so I would assume they are all wired in parallel, but do not know for sure.
