    Traxxas Fiero GTP

I just picked up this little gem today. I'm pretty sure that the electronics have been replaced at some point(although they seem to fit the chassis like it was made for them).

Rather than post a bunch of tiny pics...Here's a link to my Google album with all of the larger pics...

Looks great, I drove real Fieros when young and had one of these too when I was a kid.

I've owned 4 Fieros and hopefully getting another soon. I actually got a brand new one in 1984 when I was 16.

Got my first Fiero in 1991, an 88 Formula, went on to have 7 more, been a long time now but will always have a soft spot.

I got an 84 new and sold it in 87. Had an 86 and an 87 GT but lost both of those in Hurricane Ike...and lost my 88 in Hurricane Harvey. I'll get another eventually.

Cool car man! Have you ran it yet, or is it a showcar? Sorry for your losses.

Drove it around the kitchen...seems to run perfect. Since the motor/esc have already been changed...I went ahead and pulled the FM rx/tx off of it and stuck one of my Spectrum receivers on it and straightened up the wiring to make it look a little cleaner.
I'm about to walk out the door to go pick up my son from the airport. I'll post an updated chassis pic when I get home.

Here's a couple before and after pics of the chassis since I cleaned up the wiring and replaced the Traxxas FM receiver with one of my Spektrum ones...
