As far as batteries go either the Traxxas ones or SMC. Traxxas has a pretty good warranty on their batteries. SMC batteries as pretty good as well and are highly recommend on this forum. As far as chargers go, Iíll let someone else post about what they use as there are just way too many choices. Just depends on how much you are willing to spend and how fast and how many batteries you want to charge at the same time.

SMC batteries all the way, I have a Hitec X2 black edition charger. I really like it but to charge SMC 7200 3s lipos it takes 2 hrs to charge, smaller batteries will be faster.

I'm running SMC 7200s as well...was having same charge times as RocBoy on my Venom Duo Pro. I bought the Hota D6 DC charger and used my P350 power supply to power it. Now I charge both packs simultaneously in 33-35 minutes. Like mentioned...smaller MAH packs will take less time...the 7200s are beasts.

    These should:
    https://www.smc-racing.net/index.php...product_id=506
    Length 160mm / 6.30in
    Width 46mm / 1.81in
    Height 29mm / 1.14n

These are the same size as the 2S 7400's I run in my ERBEv1, lower MAH than the above ones:

Those 7200s that Olds97 posted are what myself and RocBoy are running and fit...they are big and fill the entire battery compartment, but fit the E Revo 2.0.

Just be careful pulling them out once they swell a little itll make em tight in there and watch balance leads tuck in nicely oh and dremel or open up bigger where batt wires come out of batt compartment. Here's my set up and old picture of batts, now I have 5 more lol.

Any recommendations for a charger that will simultaneously charge two batteries?

Reedy 1216c2 is an awesome charger.

Depends on what else you may want to charge later on. If you think your going to stick with 3S/5000mah packs for a long time, a 2x100W/2x10A charger would cover it. But if you think your going to run 4S or 6S in something, you have to go bigger or you waste your money now.

The hitec D7 is a fairly capable 2x200W/20A AC/DC charger.

If you think may end up exceeding that, the you may want to go with DC chargers and get a capable PSU.

There are quite a few options out there. Just depends on what you want to spend.

I started electric with the ERBEv1 and I ran 2x2S in it. My dynamite 4x100w/10A charger worked well for that. Now I'm running 3S in other trucks and it does fine charging 4x5000mah 3S packs at 1C and peaks out when I crank it up to 10A to try to charge at 2C because it hits the wattage limit. Still charges fine, but throttles itself back to 8.9A or so because it would need 111watts to charge those at 2C.

I also have the hitec D7 at home I use for my 7200mah 3S packs.

I have a HRC150AC/DC duo which has similar specs to that reedy charger mentioned up above, 2x150W/12A, I keep it in my car for field charging.
