Thought it was about time I started a thread on my UDR, I’ve had it since Xmas and ran it only 5/6 times, but so far its been a tank and been holding up just fine, I’ve also started to upgrade a few parts here and there....

Oh and I’m running a Savox 1256 servo, this was the first thing I upgraded, I done it straight out of the box and sold the stock servo for £33 on eBay

Powered by HRB 6000mah 50c 3s x2, it’s a tight fit, but with a little gentle persuasion they go in just fine

Only fitted it yesterday, I’m impressed with the fit and finish, the gear mesh is perfect and it looks the nuts

Your undercarriage still looks unbashed, or u just had it detailed, lol. I just rinse mine with the hose.

How did u get colors on your gauges, temp and battery?

I only run on grass and soft dirt, so my RC’s don’t get beat up, the setting are on the app to change the colours/gauges/layout, that’s a old screenshot, I’ve now added another sensor so I can read motor temps and BEC voltage

I touch the wrench by the icons, but no option to change colors

I had to delete the gauge first, then once I clicked where it was I had different options of color or not. Thanks.

If I go to a 47t spur, that will increase the speed or torque, anyone. I have the 47t spur and 31t pinion the combo should increase the speed right?

Smaller spur and/or a bigger pinion = more speed
Bigger spur and/or a smaller pinion = less speed and more torque

What were you running besides 6s to get the 49mph

Nothing, 6s and stock gearing is around 50mph

Reason I asked I was only getting 33mph after I put the 31t pinion on that 4s 9000, but I had 2 issues from preventing higher speeds, limiting strap hardware gone and loose wheel nuts.

My mate gets 38mph out of his on 4s hes running a different spur and pinion, I’ll ask him what he changed it to

He’s running a 34t pinion and the stock spur for 38mph according to the Link App

Hmm, going from 27t to 31t I should get a little extra once I fix those 2 things, when my upgraded driveshafts show up I will take the 51t spur out and put in the 47t spur I should get close to low 40ish with the my 4s I would hope.

Cheers Im not sold on the wheels tbh, I had alloy beadlocks on a Yeti XL and they were more trouble than they were worth.... So I’ll wait for some proper feedback before committing to them, I’ve found beadlocks are great on something slower, but the extra weight isn’t great for anything fast.

I bought the front shaft from the Dhawk eBay shop, they also sell them on Amazon
